The theme for Fairtrade Fortnight 2018 is COME ON IN and fortunately Bassema Barahmeh has been granted a visa to travel this year. Along with Zaytoun’s Palestinian Director, Taysir Arabasi, she will be sharing her experiences of Fairtrade. 1st March. A very special collaborative supper club at the Mosaic Rooms in London with Damascus Chef, Zaytoun and Bassema who will share her experiences of farming and agriculture in the West Bank. Book a ticket here

3rd March. At Hay deli, Hay on Wye, you can enjoy a tasting session and a short talk about what fair trade does for Palestinian farmers with a glass of wine at 5pm on the same day.
4th March. Come to a family event in Tooting to listen to stories from Palestinian farmer, Bassema Barahmeh, and learn how trading fairly has directly benefitted her family and community in Palestine. 7th March. Poco Tapas Bar is collaborating with Bassema, The Fairtrade Foundation and Zaytoun to create a one-off feast. There will be a meze of starters, sharing platters of Bassema’s maftoul chicken and vegetables and a classic Poco dessert. Book here
