NEW! Dead Sea salt from the only Palestinian producer!
July 3rd, 2019 5:15 pm
We have been busy bees behind the scenes researching an incredibly exciting new product for you. Finally we’re able to announce that gourmet Dead Sea salt from the only Palestinian Dead Sea salt producer will soon be available from Zaytoun.
The salt has been harvested by hand by a Palestinian family since the 1960s, along a 600 dunum strip of Palestinian shoreline that is of huge significance as it is the only access Palestinians have to the Dead Sea. At 420m below sea level, this is the lowest point on earth, and the salt crystals that have naturally formed over millennia are unique in their high mineral composition and clean smooth flavour.
